Aug. 30th, 2011 02:56 pmThe hospital stay at least made it so I could get a bunch of reading done. I read Bossypants and loved it. Read half of My Custom Van and loved it. Read a couple of books by Stuart Kaminsky and liked them. I read Replay, which is a Groundhog Dayesque novel that I loved. I read nothing else. But, that's some good stuff in there.
I haven't gotten my Mac yet. But, I decided when I do get it I'll get the magic trackpad. I took the el to my last doctor's appointment, and afterwards I was able to take a walk downtown. That was superfun. I need to do it more often. I also went to the apple store and played with their different pointing devices and I was really impressed with the trackpad. It will be nice to throw mouses out for, at least for one OS.
I have to get medicine from an IV every day for a couple of hours. Since I have to hook myself up to this stuff I could easily be a nurse. If becoming a nurse involves no science, at least. If it does, I'm fucked.
I saw Our Idiot Brother last night. Super duper funny. Next I need to see 30 Minutes or Less. Then, Amy Poehler needs to make a movie for this summer. Then the entire cast of Parks and Rec would have been in a movie.
I'm looking at the upcoming iCloud from Apple, and Google Music and realizing that I think I will no longer need to back up music anywhere, once I get it uploaded to the services. That is incredibly awesome. yay for technology! I think it's free from Google. And, something like 25 bucks from Apple. Neat! We're living in the future.
