Here is how you carve a pumpkin. First you go to a pumpkin patch and look at the huge horse named, probably, Larry. You walk around the pumpkin patch admiring the pumpkins, and maybe buying some gourds. Then, you find out that the pumpkins cost 20 dollars for the big ones and 5 dollars for the tiny ones. So, you go to talk to the burro, and turkeys and see what they think about the whole operation. They tell the truth and send you over to Vons were you choose sweet sweet carving Pumpkins for 4 dollars a piece.

Ok. Now that is done. You bring the pumpkins home and turn the Peanuts Halloween special on the television. And, you start ripping the guts out of the pumpkin pretending you are a pumpkin surgeon, or maybe a pumpkin serial killer. You have to rip a lot of the guts out. I am not sure why. I guess, if you don't, it's like shooting a deer and not making sure he is dead. So, when you put him on the roof of your car he will probably wake up and run away and maybe bleed on your hand. The same with the pumpkin, so make sure he is gutless before you give him a face. Try to put the guts on a newspaper, and maybe save the seeds to roast them. Here is what it might look like when you have ripped out all of the guts.

Once you get the pumpkin gutted the Peanuts special is probably over. (Charlie Brown just got a rock.) So, you can put a Simpsons Halloween special in, or maybe ghostbusters. But, probably Simpsons. Now, you have to draw a face. Any sort of face is ok. Mine usually involve triangles. People who can draw well, and use a knife are alot more likely to use shapes other than triangles. Using a Sharpie brand Marker is the best way to draw on a pumpkin.

Here is how it will look after you chopped faces into the pumpkins.

Now you find some candles light them and stick them inside the pumpkins. Since you have already gutted the pumpkin no one will be burned by the candles. (Unless you are not very good with matches.) They might look spooky, though. Because, all of the other lights will be out and the pumpkins will have lights pouring out of their eyes, which is really kind of scary.

Here is what it will look like.
