So I came up with a new pickup line today. "Hey baby, You look to me like a registered SEXY offender! I am going to need your address!" And, then I will give her a lollipop to show her that molestation can, is and should be funny in all settings. (I plan on using this line in church.) Also, since apparently pickup lines don't work very well I will finish up by asking her to give to a charity.
I made Chicken Cordon Bleu for dinner last night. It turned out really well. I like when I can cook and make up the recipe and it doesn't end up tasting crazy bad. Not, that I personally made up the idea of combining cheese, ham and chicken. But, I decided on how to fry the chicken, on what sort of bread crumbs to use. On using some blended cheese. On the sort of ham. On how long to cook it. All made up, and it turned out tasty! Unlike a kake, which are also tasty, but not home made. I cannot remember the last time i had a tasty-kake. (HINT HINT)
My bike needs a tune up and I have to figure out where to take it. Bicycle Bob's (Which is fun to say) isn't taking new repairs until October 30th which seems like a long time from now. But, I would like to start riding my bike to class at least once a week, and I am not trusting everything on the bike at this point. And, while 10 miles isn't super long. I don't want to have to worry about having to hail down a friendly person to drive me to class if my bike explodes.
The guy on Friday was just wrongfully imprisoned, he hadn't been on Death Row. His talk was really interesting and brought up a lot of good points about problems with the justice system, police interrogation, and jail house snitches. I wasn't as impressed with the leader of the talk who brought up Plea Bargaining as if it was the worst thing that ever happened. Afterward we went to Palazzio's for dinner and I ate way too much food but it was well worth it. Artichoke and Spinach dip is heavenly!
I started reading a book called Toad Rage today. I am only on the first chapter. But, so far it is about a toad who has watched most of his family get run over by angry Australians, and he is asking everyone why humans hate toads. And, this might ruin the first chapter for you, but that is alright. He asks his Uncle and his uncle says "Stack me!" (Which means he was surprised according to the glossary in the back. The front of the book says to either check the glossary or go to Australia.) and calls Limpy an idiot. And then he gets run over by a car. It sounds good so far! It is written by Morris Gleitzman, who the internet says is "Australia's funniest and best loved children's authors" which must be true since it is displayed in written form.
