Apr. 7th, 2006 01:08 pmNow that I am both bored and able to make polls. I will make a poll.
I should clean up my friend's list. Who wants to get booted? Granted, if you say yes, that doesn't mean I will boot you, think of this poll more as an attention whoring device. As all my polls are.
[Poll #706127]
I like British television shows. When I was in high school I liked stuff that was really outrageous and funny. Stuff, that I imagined other high school kids were watching or had watched. Like the Young Ones or Absolutely Fabulous. Now. Now, I think the shows I like are mostly enjoyed by old people. Stuff like House of Cards, Foyle's War, Poirot. They are all well crafted fun shows. Really great stuff. Has anyone else watched any of them? Do you have any suggestions for stuff like it that might be on DVD? Fran, do people there like these shows, or is it a David Hasslehoff sort of thing.
I probably should write an interesting entry sometime soon. Something more than my media reports. But, today is not that day.
I am pretty sure not much can beat conversations overheard at the supermarket. I guess any conversation can be great, but for some reason the supermarket brings out the best ones. "Tomatoes make my feet hurt." "I can't eat sugar cereals. I fly." "There is no room for jello!"
Well, those I made up because I can't think of the good ones... OH!
"You know what I haven't been able to find int the lower 48? Grilled salt! I can't find it anywhere. We had it all the time in Alaska."
She was even wearing pants that looked like they might be good for fur trapping.
