pricciar: (y so srs?)

I saw the Dark Knight this morning at 10 am. It was flawless. Usually, I see a comic book movie and enjoy it, but have one or two complaints about how they could have done it better or been more like the comic book. This had everything, and then some. There was excellent action sequences.. References to the comic books (Allusions to both Batman: Year One and the Killing Joke.) And a laugh here or there. The comic book allusoins were there, but you would enjoy the movie if you had never picked up a batman book in your life. It was a long movie, but I never wanted it to end. Incredible from start to end. The end was perfect.

There was a few interesting previews before the movie. Watchmen. The trailer makes it look like they might do things right. But, since it was such an incredible comic book, I doubt that it can possibly be as deep and rewarding. But, maybe it will make for a fun movie. The Day The Earth Stood Still I don't really have a problem with Keanu Reeves, so the fact that he is starring in this remake doesn't bother me. But, going solely by the trailer it seems as if they are concentrating on special effects and not mood. Which would make it hard to have a cahance in comparing favorably to the orignal. There were a couple of other previews that I don't remember as well. Ohh. There is a new Mummy movie. I like Brendan Frasier, so  I bet it will be fun. But, I haven't seen the first two. I might be lost in the plot. And there was a cartoon about a dog actor who believes he really is a super dog. That  might be funny.
