daisy702 made the icon I am using, but did not know where it was from. It cracked me up so much that not only did I need to add the icon, but I needed to find the original source. And, going through all of Emily Flake's other comics just made me appreciate her that much more and also laugh a lot. Awesome.
I am waiting for UPS to come and deliver me a package and it is taking forever, so everyone can benefit from my waiting with a Live Journal entry that does not involve any polls.
I am heading up to the Bay Area this weekend. That should be fun. I am taking Amtrak, so I should only have to take one day of vacation for the entire trip. Working from home is the super fun, as everyone knows. Also, I will get to see and take pictures of many many woodstock birds. Bully for me, I say.
I saw a few good movies on DVD lately. Let's see. No Way Home was a sweet Korean movie about a spoiled city kid who spends a summer with his mute country living grandmother. It never got as sappy as I expected for such an obviously sappy story, and it was really fun.
You know what we haven't done in ages? The 10 question game. Does anyone want to play? I forget the rules. I think it's like you comment in this entry and ask for 10 questions. I give you the question and you have to answer them. Then, people can ask you for questions and you give them new questions. Or you can reuse the old questions if you are a fucking lazy asshole that lives off the hard work and sweat of others.
I guess it should go without saying. But, I will say it anyhow. You should post your answers in your own journal, so people will know to get questions from you.
Oh. The other movie I saw was Thumb Sucker. That was good. But, the character motivations and actions made little to no sense to me. Still, interesting performances from all of the actors even Keanu as the new age dentist.
God. There is like 100 million construction things going on around here. And, I don't mind that. But, when I am expecting a PACKAGE and every vehicle sounds like a UPS truck I think that is a little bit too much. Don't you?
Change isn't always good. And some things don't map out like you want them to. But, I think I am going to have a lot of things figured out by this time next week. And, that is more than a little bit exciting.
How cool is this? A loft bed. That's cool. A loft bed, and all of your bed time stuff is hanging from strings on the ceiling? That is super cool! Alarm clock floating in air above you! reading light floating as well. That is the bedroom of the future and we can all have it now. Welcome to the world of TOMORROW!
