My new camera came in the mail. It is extremely cool. It has all of the bells and whistles you would imagine wanting, and then some more in case you were not satisfied. One problem I found with it - when I attempt to take pictures of myself the images that are produced look like someone who just took their bandages off after botched plastic surgery. Surely, that is the camera's fault. I don't look in the mirror that often, but I don't remember looking that horrific. I will be speaking to some customer service representatives and demanding satisfaction. (Operator, Am I really that ugly?! POSH!)

I will say this for the camera. It takes excellent pictures of Pez. They look huge! But, they are actually quite small. And, fantastic pictures of spiderwebs. I am going to take a walk later and see what other interesting things i can take digital photographs of.

I liked the latest Harry Potter book. Although, it's the first one I finished and really really wanted to read the next one. And, I hate JK Rowling for making me wait. I am not reading Are You Experienced? and The Big Sleep.

Speaking of customer service. i have started filling out customer service forms by saying "RIPOFF!!!!!!!!" and seeing what I get in return. So, far I have gotten a pink iPod, a plasma tv set, a tivo, and a year's subscription to Grit.

If I had a pig for a pet I would name him Sidney and listen to all of his problems. And, I would never ever think of making bacon out of him. But, I would totally mess with his head and let him know how tasty bacon is. "It's like God's own meat. Be happy Sidney, your body makes God's own meat. I can't say that."

I think the lady from work who is moving away is going to give us her cat. Well, give my roommate her cat. But, I will try to make it walk like a human. I think I had a dream of trying to force some animal to walk like a human. And, he took the suggestion but I don't remember any more of the dream. Or maybe it was real life.

Ok. I am not bored any more. I have to get back to work. Yay for jpeg code!

My camera has the same defect. When I was taking pictures for my Yahoo profile last year, I'd look in the mirror, smile so I know what it would look like. Then *SNAP* take the picture. So help me God, it wasn't the same woman that I was looking at in the mirror.

Of course, I don't discount the fact that the MIRROR was broken, not the camera. Good thing I moved out. Who wants a broken mirror?

Yup. It's on a CD with music all inspired by your state:
Sufjan Steven's Illinois (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0009R1T7M/qid=1122502590/sr=8-1/ref=pd_bbs_sbs_1/103-6738761-6346258?v=glance&s=music&n=507846)

Cooooool!

JoeyMark and I once went to see a band called Illinois First! play (well, open for some other band, really). They sang all songs about Illinois history. It was pretty fun.

He also has a CD about Michigan (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00009V7TZ/qid=1122503357/sr=8-2/ref=pd_bbs_sbs_2/103-6738761-6346258?v=glance&s=music&n=507846). I think he might be following you around.

So TWISTED you are!!! Though, I've heard that human is supposed to taste like ham? So I guess we come second in the Like God's Own Meat contest.

I want an Ipod! Maybe I should try the Ripoff!! idea. I want a green Ipod though, not pink. I wonder if they let you specify a preference?

On the digicam front, I've discovered that I have to take many pictures before coming out with one photo in which I don't look hideous. Makeup and natural lighting help too. ;D

DUDE. My camera does the same thing. If I take 100 pictures of myself, perhaps 1 will be not hideous. In order to this 15-picture icon set I spent literally 72 days in hermitage taking photo after photo. Apparently my camera has hidden settings like "Extra Pimple" and "Double Chin" that I can neither find nor turn off.
